Amlogic S905X3 SoC based, the C500 PRO is a brand new model pre-installed with Android 9.0 from MAGICSEE. It is fully compatible with the DVB-S2/S2X ATSC MPEG-2/4 H.264 Standard.
DVB – T = T for Terrestrial, that means you pick up the signals with a terrestrial aerial.
DVB -S = S for Satellite, you pick up the signal from a satellite dish. DVB-S2X is an optional extension of DVB-S2 standard
ATSC = An American set of standards for digital television transmission over terrestrial, cable and satellite networks.
Amlogic’s S905x3 Quad-Core SoC alongside 2GB/4GB of RAM,16GB/32GB of eMMC storage options will ensure better-than-average performance. 3D gaming should also be pleasing since the Mali-G31 GPU is involved.
Connectivity is complete with 1 x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0, 1 x LAN, 1 x SPDIF out, 1x HDMI 2.0a (4K and HDR support) out, 1x A/V out (in a 3.5mm jack form) and a single SD slot. And most important of all is the hybrid part, so at the back, we can find the input for the terrestrial and satellite signals.
For wireless connections, Magicsee C500 PRO supports both Dual Band AC and BT4.2 protocols.
